Stephen NicolleMarch Networks™, a leading provider of intelligent IP video and business analysis applications, announced recently that Stephen Nicolle has joined the March Networks senior management team in the position of acting Chief Operating Officer (COO), reporting directly to Peter Strom, President and CEO.                     

Mr. Nicolle has more than 22 years of experience working in the communications technology industry.  As President and General Manager of the OSS software business unit at Nortel Networks, he grew revenue to $250 million in 2000 from $24 million in 1997 and led a team of more than 1,000 employees.  

Prior to that, Mr. Nicolle worked as Assistant Vice-President at Bell Northern Research, where he was responsible for Network and Service Management research and development programs, managing more than $40 million in annual investment.  More recently, he served as CEO and President of emerging, venture-backed technology companies Sigma Systems Group and Tatara Systems Inc.

Mr. Nicolle will be responsible for leading March Networks' R&D and global operations initiatives, with a focus on enhancing the Company's development, product life cycle and fulfilment strategies.
