Marzano's remit will be to achieve significant growth and market share gains for Y3K

Y3K, the UK's leading manufacturer and distributor of CCTV systems, has appointed Marco Marzano as International Sales Director. Marzano’s remit will be to achieve significant growth and market share gains for Y3K and its group subsidiaries, Xvision, IQCCTV and SmartWitness, within the EMEA region.

Y3K’s CEO Paul Singh said, “We are delighted to have secured the appointment of Marco to help us develop our export business. He speaks fluent French, Spanish, Italian and English, which can only add value to our existing sales team. We’ve a range of new products being launched this autumn at prices that will be a real game-changer for the security industry, both in the UK and overseas, so Marco’s appointment is perfect timing for us. ”

For the past five years, Marzano has been sales manager for Spanish access control manufacturer, Openers and Closers. Previously, he was account manager at UBM, working on the IFSEC International security show.

"I am delighted to join Y3K at such a pivotal time as the company strengthens its line-up of security products,” said Marzano. “I am convinced that Y3K’s aggressive pricing strategy for its range of high-definition CCTV cameras will open up new opportunities for me in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.”

Marzano will be based in Barcelona, where he will head up the sales and marketing team, effective 1st September 2013. All technical support will still remain the function of the head office in Croydon, UK.
