Kwikset’s Signature Series Deadbolts with Home Connect provides an array of other advanced features for maximum security and convenience
The motorised deadbolts utilise the Z-Wave™ wireless protocol to enable true remote locking and unlocking

Kwikset, the leader in residential security, unveil its new line of Signature Series Deadbolts with Home Connect™ technology at ISC West, April 15-17 in Las Vegas.  Utilising the popular Kwikset single-cylinder deadbolt as its foundation, this is the ideal lock for the first-time homebuyer or homeowners who want to experience the safety and peace of mind of a Home Connect solution.

Utilising Z-wave wireless protocol:

The new motorised deadbolts utilise the Z-Wave™ wireless protocol to enable true remote locking and unlocking. This allows homeowners to remotely access and control the lock from anywhere in the world, using a smartphone, tablet or Internet connected device. As a result, they can lock a door while traveling for work or vacation, and can also remotely provide access to their home to service providers, guests or other family members. Users of this new lock can also attain valuable information through their smart phone, and have the peace of mind of knowing whether a door is locked or unlocked.

Advanced features:

Kwikset’s Signature Series Deadbolts with Home Connect provides an array of other advanced features for maximum security and convenience. These include: Kwikset’s patented SmartKey® re-key technology, that allows homeowners to re-key their locks in seconds without having to remove the lock from the door; and BumpGuard™ technology that protects homeowners from lock bumping. Plus the lock’s revolutionary tapered deadbolt design enables misaligned doors to lock without pulling and pushing a door shut.

The Signature Series Deadbolts with Home Connect also feature: BHMA Grade 2 Certification, ensuring top quality durability; UL Certification with a 20-minute fire rating; and full 128-bit encryption security. Remarkably easy to install, Kwikset’s Signature Series Deadbolts with Home Connect replace existing door hardware with just a screwdriver, requires no hard wiring, and operate on 4 AA batteries that will last for approximately one year.

According to Keith Brandon, Director of Residential Access Solutions for Kwikset, "The new Signature Series Deadbolts with Home Connect technology make the convenience, innovation and safety of locks that can be remotely accessed more affordable than ever before."
