Senstar will also train NATO to assemble and disassemble the electronic security systems
The perimeter security systems to include intrusion detection, video surveillance, access control, and public address systems

Senstar, the world’s largest manufacturer of perimeter intrusion detection systems (PIDS) is pleased to announce it has been chosen by the NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA) to provide perimeter electronic security systems for a number of NATO camps of varying sizes and will include the FlexZone ranging fence-mounted sensor for intrusion detection, as well as video surveillance, access control, and public address systems. Senstar will also train NATO to assemble and disassemble the systems.

Senstar Corporation President Brian Rich said: “Senstar is honoured to support NATO efforts by securing military forces who in turn protect the freedom and security of others. This is an exciting project for Senstar and we look forward to working with NATO and our other partners to provide comprehensive security solutions for these camps.”

The perimeter electronic security systems are intended to provide passive protection in a low threat environment over a wide range of geographic environments and climatic conditions. Equipment requirements included the need to be robust and of high quality, as well as capable of being mounted and dismounted rapidly, often under difficult environmental conditions.

This bid to secure the camps was open to companies from 26 NATO-member countries.
