Custom Consoles’ Media Wall modular monitor display system is widely used in industrial process control, security monitoring and broadcasting
Custom Consoles’ SteelBase technical desking provides an efficient working environment for any size of control room

Custom Consoles reports a highly successful SPE Offshore Europe, held in September at the Aberdeen Exhibition & Conference Centre. Exhibiting at the show's 40th event, Custom Consoles displayed new options to its SteelBase range of control room furniture plus its Media Wall modular monitor display system and KAB high-grade controller chairs.

"Organised in association with the Society of Petroleum Engineers, the four-day show attracted over 63,000 visitors and generated some very encouraging leads," comments Gary Fuller, Sales Manager at Custom Consoles.

SteelBase is a high-durability technical desking system which can be configured to provide an ergonomically efficient working environment for any size of control room. It is designed for use in industrial process control rooms such as oil and gas production plants where highly robust furniture is required. The latest version of SteelBase is available with a 1.2 metre front-to-back depth compared with the previous 1.1 metre depth. The 1.2 metre version provides extra leg room in line with the latest ergonomic and safety standards: EN527, ISO 9241 and ISO 11064.

"A lot of interest was also shown in our Media Wall modular monitor display system," Gary Fuller adds. "This is widely used in industrial process control, security monitoring and broadcasting. Media Wall is easy to configure from a range of 1.5 metre, 2 metre and 2.5 metre width frames, with optional matching equipment storage pods and fully concealed cabling. Existing installations can be expanded easily."

An optional accessory for all desks in the Custom Consoles product range, the KAB 24-hour controller chair is designed specifically for use during long shifts as well as in deluxe office environments. Features include adjustable height and tilt, adjustable rocker tension, inflatable air lumbar, adjustable backrest angle and a height-and-tilt-adjustable headrest.
