Nortek Security & Control will be exhibiting with Wave Electronics in Booth 731 and with 21st Century Distribution in Booth 239
Nortek Security & Control's promotion involves its GoControl line of smart home solutions that integrate with 2GIG

Nortek Security & Control LLC, a Nortek, Inc. company and a leader in the security and home control markets, will unveil a package deal on GoControl smart home solutions and new dealer training resources at ESX 2015. With the announcements, the company is making it easier than ever for security dealers to capitalise on the growing interest in home control by giving them the products and training needed to sell and install smart home solutions. Nortek Security & Control will be exhibiting with Wave Electronics in Booth 731 and with 21st Century Distribution in Booth 239.

Smart home solutions

Nortek Security & Control's promotion involves its GoControl line of smart home solutions that integrate with 2GIG and other popular home control systems. Dealers who purchase ten GoControl BulbZ smart bulbs will get two GoControl communicating thermostats at no cost. This "12-pack Summer Home Automation Promotion" saves dealers over $150 and adds a valuable revenue stream by providing high demand add-on solutions that bring convenience and safety to customers in two of the hottest home control segments - lighting and temperature control.

"As our 2GIG and GoControl product lines evolve and grow, it's a top priority for Nortek to provide technology solutions that help dealers make money and the education to back it up," said Rob Halligan, group vice president, marketing, Nortek Security & Control. "With our interactive courses offered through Nortek University and our creative promotions, we can ensure our dealer network has all the resources they need to provide customers with an exceptional experience."

Product education for installers

The nationally recognised year-round training programs from LearnNortekControl.com provide eLearning opportunities and training schedules from Nortek University for its Linear, 2GIG and GoControl dealer network. Nortek University offers in-person professional training programs with hands-on product education for installing dealers, technicians and system integrators. With small class sizes of just eight students, training is designed to assist customers, validate mastery and proficiency of 2GIG solutions, including the GC2, which remains one of the most advanced smart home security systems available and is compatible with GoControl smart light bulbs, thermostats, sensors, light switches and more. Future training sessions for the GC3 will be announced when the product is available later in 2015.

Training courses are accredited through the National Training School, the Electronic Security Association and Building Industry Consulting Service International, Inc. The company's training experts also host CEU Certified classes at Nortek Security & Control corporate headquarters in Carlsbad, California.

The GoControl 12-Pack Summer Promotion starts on July 1 and runs through September 30, 2015. For more information, contact your distributor or local dealer. Nortek Security & Control will be exhibiting with Wave Electronics in Booth 731 at ESX 2015 and additional Nortek Security & Control products will be on display in the 21st Century Distributing Booth 239.
