Teleste ACE8 has been announced as the winner in the category of “Best broadband network transmission solution” |
Teleste’s intelligent and compact deep fibre node the Teleste ACE8 has been announced as the winner in the category of “Best broadband network transmission solution” in the SCTE’s 2014 Technological Innovation Awards. The SCTE (Society for Broadband Professionals) is an educational society and non-profit organisation whose aim is to raise the standard of broadband engineering in the telecommunications industry.
The Teleste ACE8 is the first DOCSIS 3.1 node on the market. It fully meets requirements for DOCSIS 3.1 and DVB-C2. The node is designed for flexible, future-proof network installations and it offers service providers cost-efficient access to high transmission capacity. The SCTE award gives recognition to the high quality of the product as well as the importance of answering the industry’s challenges with technological development.
In addition to our technological success, the SCTE 2014 Richard Harris Member of the Year award was given to Steve Gribby, CTO of Asheridge Communications, a member of the Teleste Group. Congratulations, Steve!
