The NTS and the Teleste VMS are tightly integrated to provide the users a uniform and lean workflow for daily work

The Swedish Transport Administration (STA) has won the International Road Federation’s (IRF) Global Road Achievement Awards (GRAA) in the ‘Traffic Management and Intelligent Transportation Systems’ category for its project “NTS – National Traffic Management System for Sweden”. Teleste is supplying the video management system, one of the most vital subsystems of NTS.

NTS (National Traffic management System) is an advanced traffic management and control system in Sweden, developed to increase efficiency and support the operational work in the traffic control centres. The NTS and the Teleste video management system are tightly integrated to provide the users a uniform and lean workflow for daily work, and to handle action plans in the system. This is achieved with Teleste VMX servers and the employed open and comprehensive protocol.

Teleste has supplied STA with video systems since 1991. The Teleste VMS is today used nationwide together with NTS.
