Valens will demonstrate its VS020 Chipset with CCTV over CAT technology

Valens is making its IFSEC debut to deliver security installers a simple and low-cost transition into high-definition digital video with CCTV over CAT technology, empowered by its VS020 chipset. Valens VS020 delivers long-distance distribution of full, uncompressed video with controls and power running over a single, inexpensive CAT5e/6 LAN cable. Based on Valens’ unique HDBaseT technology, Valens VS020 brings the latest capabilities used by A/V professionals to CCTV.

“At IFSEC International we will show security professionals how they can transition now into affordable high-definition video as simply as plug and play through our VS020 chipset for CCTV over CAT distribution,” says Micha Risling, vice president of marketing and business development, Valens Semiconductor. Valens will present to a broad audience of IFSEC attendees on the key factors to transitioning from analogue to HD digital video in the CCTV market, scheduled at 12pm on Thurs. May 16th.

Valens will showcase an operational demonstration of its VS020 Chipset with CCTV over CAT technology at its booth #5/C91 in Hall 5 during IFSEC.
