The camera channel expansion function is available for use on all ASUSTOR NAS devices that are running Surveillance Center 2.1
ASUSTOR’s 2 and 3 series devices can be expanded up to a maximum of 8 camera channels

ASUSTOR Inc., a leading innovator and provider of network storage solutions, announced recently that its expansion camera channel licenses are now available for purchase, globally. After installing the Surveillance Center App on an ASUSTOR NAS, users will be able to enjoy the use of 4 free IP camera channels. In order to further add more channels to Surveillance Center users can make use of the new purchasable camera channel licenses. ASUSTOR’s 2 and 3 series devices can be expanded up to a maximum of 8 camera channels while 6 series devices can be expanded up to a maximum of 12.

 “We have taken user feedback into account and in addition to providing 4 free camera channel licenses, which is higher than the industry standard, we are offering expansion licenses in single and 4 channel packs. This provides flexibility for users to incrementally expand their surveillance systems, “said James Su, Product Manager at ASUSTOR. “Furthermore, the exclusive ability to transfer licenses allows users to transfer camera channel licenses among ASUSTOR NAS devices, increasing deployment versatility.”

The camera channel expansion function is available for use on all ASUSTOR NAS devices that are running Surveillance Center 2.1 and later. The camera channel licenses are now available for purchase from ASUSTOR dealers globally and also from the ASUSTOR online accessories store.
