ASUSTOR Inc., a leading innovator and provider of network storage solutions, will showcase its innovative series of NAS devices at CES 2014 in Las Vegas from January 6th – 9th. At the show, ASUSTOR will be exhibiting its 6, 3, and 2 series NAS devices along with debuting its highly anticipated 7 Series models which consist of enterprise-class rackmount devices. Furthermore, ASUSTOR will be shinning the spotlight on ASUSTOR Portal, a brand new high-definition platform that integrates multimedia playback, web browsing and surveillance feeds.

Also being exhibited will be the newest version of ASUSTOR’s NAS operating system ADM 2.1. This new version of ADM features improvements to File Explorer, the addition of VPN server and client functionality and the brand new MyArchive function that allows users to use multiple hard disks for data backup and sharing. Additionally, a variety of new NAS Apps will be released along with ADM 2.1. These Apps include Takeasy, an online video downloading App andPhoto Gallery, a unique photo album App in addition to a new antivirus App that protects users’ critical data on the NAS. Moreover, ASUSTOR will be presenting the Download Center Helper utility that lets users download from the Web straight to their NAS and the AiMusic mobile app that lets users listen to their entire NAS music collection while on the go.

ASUTOR NAS devices are the first in the world to be designed around an App-based concept. This concept allows for an intuitive and easy to navigate interface along with the ability to expand and customise functionality via add-on Apps. In addition to the full featured pre-installed NAS Apps, users can use ASUSTOR’s App Central to download a host of supplementary Apps. Whether a user's interests lie in business, website construction or home entertainment, App Central is able to provide the rich variety of applications required to satisfy users' digital lifestyle needs.

All of ASUSTOR NAS devices come equipped with Intel Atom dual-core processors which combine supercharged performance with low power consumption. A myriad of energy saving features including power scheduling, internal and external disk hibernation and smart fans, help users save a significant amount of power. ASUSTOR is also the first in the industry to feature System Sleep Mode S3 on its NAS devices along with ultra-fast 1.5 second wake times.
