ASUSTOR Inc., a leading innovator and provider of network storage solutions, has announced that Surveillance Center has officially upgraded to version 2.2. All ASUSTOR NAS users with surveillance needs are welcome to download and experience this new version firsthand. Surveillance Center 2.2 supports the ONVIF Profile S (2.4.1) standard protocol, which makes it compatible with all Profile S certified camera products. Additionally, newly added interactive electronic maps provide a visual method for administrators to get an overall view of all IP cameras being deployed in large scale surveillance environments, allowing them to quickly get a handle on the current situation and effectively limiting any potential damage that could occur. Furthermore, support for the newest version of Safari (8.0.2) optimises the display performance of Surveillance Center on Mac systems increasing the refresh rate when viewing multiple camera channels and providing a smoother experience when navigating through the interface. The Surveillance Center 2.2 upgrade also further expands compatibility for cameras from AXIS, AVTECH, Samsung, TRENDnet and Zavio, providing more choice and flexibility for users.

We would like to thank all of our users for their feedback and participation in the Surveillance Center 2.2 Beta Program during the past few weeks,” said James Su, Product Manager at ASUSTOR. “Their invaluable assistance has allowed us to smoothly launch the official version of Surveillance Center 2.2, bringing convenient new features for all ASUSTOR users to enjoy.”

Surveillance Center is the first surveillance NAS App in the world to support HDMI local output and also provides an industry leading 4 free camera channels, satisfying the surveillance needs for homes and small-scale retail operations. Cross-platform monitoring via Windows and Mac Web browsers, HDMI local output and the AiSecure mobile app allow users to always stay connected with their most valued assets. Surveillance Center currently supports close to 500 different camera models from world renowned brands which combines with ONVIF Profile S support to provide more choice and flexibility than ever before for surveillance camera deployment.

Surveillance Center 2.2 is suitable for use on all ASUSTOR NAS devices. All users are welcome to download it from App Central and create their own exclusive surveillance cloud for free.
