DAT Group has experience in designing and manufacturing ATM equipment as well as contactless smart cards
LEGIC’s reader technology to become part of DAT’s next generation parking space management solutions

LEGIC Identsystems announced it has added Beijing DAT Technology Limited, a DAT Group company to its partner network. As a result, the reader technology from LEGIC will become part of DAT Technology’s next generation parking space management solutions.

“Being a LEGIC partner is of major importance for us. As an innovative organisation involved in standards committee activities, we make all efforts to work with leading technology vendors,” Robert Hu, CEO at Beijing DAT Technology, comments.

The DAT Group can look back on 20 years of experience in designing and manufacturing ATM equipment and a decade of experience with contactless smart cards. It was with parking meters that Beijing DAT Technology enjoyed great success: The 11,000 unit parking meter network laid out in Hong Kong is believed to be one of the world’s largest parking space management systems using contactless chip cards, for instance.

“We are delighted to welcome DAT Technology among our licensees,” declares Dr. Otto Eggimann, Vice President Sales & Business Development at LEGIC Identsystems Ltd. “The company is known for its robust and user-friendly products and our reader technology will be in good hands there.”
