OPC and LEGIC form partnership
OPC widens its offer to include personal identification with contactless LEGIC Smart Card technology
As multifunctional card systems manufacturer, OPC cardsystems GmbH has been leading provider of e-payment solutions in the leisure and business sectors for several years. Through the partnership with LEGIC, the company widens its product range and services to include personal identification with contactless LEGIC Smart Card technology. The new solutions are especially used in leisure facilities, public buildings and company canteens.

The cashless payment system based on LEGIC can be effortlessly combined with other applications, such as time & attendance or access control. End users benefit from safe, multifunctional card solutions, which increase the efficiency of in-house processes and improve company's control. On the one hand, the use of the cards can be extended in a flexible manner, and on the other hand, existing card populations can easily be upgraded for use with e-payment applications.

Thorsten Hülsmann, sales manager of OPC, knows that more and more companies are opting for the advantages of a contactless card system for their internal organisation. "In the context of increasing business process rationalisation and cost reductions, the partnership with LEGIC is an important step for us in order to react to the growing demands of our customers. In the field of multi-applications in particular, i.e. the combination of different uses on one card, LEGIC offers latest-generation technology."

Dr Otto Eggimann, Vice President Sales & Business Development of LEGIC, states: "LEGIC can also benefit from this partnership with a flexible and experienced system provider. We are convinced that by combining our skills, the end user will reap the advantages."
