Omniimpex produces energy-saving, battery-operated and waterproof wide-range solutions

Omniimpex GmbH with its headquarters in Zug is now part of the partner network of LEGIC Identsystems AG. The technology company, which was founded in 2004, mainly produces energy-saving, battery-operated and waterproof wide-range solutions with in-house developed antennas.

Omniimpex GmbH is a family-owned company and completely self-financed. The main development centre is located in Sofia, Bulgaria, guaranteeing the highest quality at competitive costs in connection with the Swiss laboratory. The scanners with LEGIC chip technology are available in waterproof and robust structures, with and without localisation, as well as in the form of OEM products.

Product portfolio has grown enormously

Omniimpex GmbH began as a development office for wireless solutions and antennae development – exclusively for renowned international companies. However, the company very quickly began to produce these products for OEM customers. In the last few years, together with order processing, work has started on the development and production of in-house products for the social alarm and nurse call sector, which are marketed through OEM customers.

The scanners with LEGIC chips are available in waterproof and robust designs with and without localisation, e.g. for indeterminable amounts of vehicles housed outside (industry, airports), and as OEM products.

Increasing industrial solutions

Since 2014, the proportion of industrial solutions and customers in the field of indoor and outdoor locational and access controls has dramatically increased and will be the largest business sector of Omniimpex GmbH in 2015. All products offer, and offered at the product launch, unique selling points which no competitor product had. These are the foundations of success and have led to several patents being issued.
