LEGIC Identsystems Ltd., the world-leading supplier of contactless smart card technology for personal identification applications, and EDP Support Polska, a leading system integrator of security systems and smart card applications have agreed on a new partnership.  This license agreement gives EDPS direct access to LEGIC's know-how and technology.

Since its foundation in 1994, EDP Support Polska has been offering the most up to date solutions for access control, time and attendance solutions, production recording, personal identification cards and badge printing equipment.  They design, install and implement high-tech solutions, and provide user training as well as warranty and post-warranty services for medium and large clients.  Among EDPS's customers are state and military institutions, power plants, sports and leisure facilities, banks, industrial buildings and ports.  EDPS' sound technical knowledge and experience ensures optimal productivity, cost efficiency, high quality service and reliable assistance and support.

In cooperation with other LEGIC partners, EDPS has already realised numerous projects using the LEGIC all-in-one card technology.  The license agreement underlines the company's strategy to establish further partnerships with suppliers of electronic security solutions and technology providers in the field of contactless identification themselves.  LEGIC's all-in-one card technology goes hand-in-hand with EDPS' multi-functional systems and products and enables them to respond even faster and more specifically to the increased demand for integrated, advanced security and contactless personal identification systems in the Polish market.  For LEGIC the new partnership is yet another step to strengthen their position in Eastern Europe.

Robert Jaworski, President of EDP Support Polska, comments the decision to become a LEGIC licence partner: "We have set our goals and targets high for the coming two years.  With this licence agreement EDPS gains the world-leading provider of contactless smart card technology as a direct partner.  This partnership will enable us to respond even more accurately and specifically to our client's needs, which will further enhance our strong position in the market."

"The partnership with EDPS is a wonderful win-win closure.  We provide the latest smart card technology and EDPS with their well-established contacts and networks open yet another door to the Polish market for us, through which we are able to further strengthen our presence in Eastern Europe", says Klaus U. Klosa, Managing Director of LEGIC Identsystems Ltd.
