A multifunctional LEGIC card is used in the modern part of the Raiffeisen Zentralbank building "Wave" |
The card can be topped up at the top-up station either by using cash or a cheque account credit which can then be redeemed in any of the company's catering facilities. Forgetful guests who do not always remember to top up their LEGIC ID with sufficient credit are assisted by an electronic wallet which allows a personal credit to be exceeded by up to a defined negative balance.
With around 65,000 staff worldwide, Austrian Raiffeisen Zentralbank (RZB) is now one of the 100 largest banks in the world.
Despite the company's huge success and fast growth, RZB makes efforts not to lose sight of the original idea behind the company - striking a balance between a market-economy approach and exercising social and ecological responsibility. The Energie Raiffeisen Leasing sustainable company therefore specialises in financing assets to generate alternative and renewable forms of energy.
The card combines functions such as time & attendance, access control, ID badges, use of a garage and an electronic wallet |
But a company is only as good as its employees. RZB are aware of this and are therefore firmly committed to ensuring maximum possible employee satisfaction.
SYMBIO operates at high-speed and there is no queuing at tills even when the restaurant is really busy. Because the works restaurant and in-house cafeteria proved to be so popular, another internal expansion project is set to start in the near future. Construction work which will involve installing a third line of tills in the dining room and a second line of tills in the cafeteria is scheduled to be completed by March 2010.
