TraceSecurity’s TraceCSO is the industry’s first cloud solution for a holistic risk-based information security program
TraceSecurity partners will be able to offer customers a comprehensive risk-based information security program

TraceSecurity, the pioneer in cloud-based IT governance, risk and compliance (GRC) solutions, recently announced the TraceSecurity Partner Program, a new program and incentives that provide resellers with unique revenue opportunities.  TraceSecurity partners gain the ability to offer customers a cloud-based, comprehensive risk-based information security program, among other services.

TraceSecurity’s TraceCSO is the industry’s first cloud solution for a holistic risk-based information security program that delivers comprehensive visibility and accountability for improved risk and compliance profiles across all areas of an organisation, including cloud environments.  TraceCSO allows organisations of any size, industry or security skill set to evaluate, create, implement and manage a comprehensive risk-based information security program, to protect their organisations from today’s top information security risks, including cloud security and “bring your own device” (BYOD) concerns.

“The security vulnerabilities of medium-sized organisations are as great, if not greater, than large organisations, yet SMBs have not had a comprehensive, cost-effective tool like TraceCSO to help them map their security strategy,” said Ken Leeser, president of Kaliber Data Security, a Boston-based  information security and compliance consulting organisation.  “TraceSecurity is focused on the SMB marketplace and is committed to working with the channel.  We view TraceCSO as the lead solution to help justify the implementation of our security offerings.  Using TraceCSO, we can map threat and compliance requirements, determine mitigating controls, and identify additional products and services needs after we help our clients define a comprehensive security strategy.  I look for a high level of end-user customer support from a partner, and TraceSecurity excels in this area.  They are flexible, easy to work with, accommodate customers’ special requests, and support my marketing initiatives.”

The TraceSecurity Partner Program is designed to provide managed service providers, consultants, auditors and resellers the ability to offer comprehensive security services and IT GRC products.  With the TraceCSO risk assessment, partners also have means to identify customer areas that need to be addressed from a security or compliance perspective, creating sell through and revenue opportunities for other leading security solutions in the partners’ solution mixes.

TraceSecurity Partner Program Components

"The TraceSecurity program is designed so partners have easy access to build a ready-to-go SaaS security business model, and differentiate their offerings"

The new program is flexible in supporting various levels of participation and benefits.  Partners that simply want to refer potential customers to TraceSecurity can join at the Referral Level and participate in revenue sharing with minimum effort.  For resellers that present solutions and process orders, the program’s Reseller Level provides greater opportunity for revenues.  Vale Added Resellers that provide service and support to their customers will further increase their revenue opportunities.  Consultants also have the ability to use TraceSecurity’s products to deliver a variety of IT risk, security and compliance services using the TraceSecurity framework.  Partners are able to participate in multiple levels simultaneously.  The partner program also supports technology partners with OEM and integration capabilities.  For more information, see: http://www.tracesecurity.com/partners/

“While TraceSecurity has an excellent direct sales force, the natural progression of all great companies is to leverage the channel,” said Alan Fortier, newly hired director of channel sales.  “With the launch of this new program, I expect that within the next 2-3 years that more than 50 percent of our revenue will come from the channel.  This is because TraceSecurity provides opportunities for partners to capitalise on the evolving security market by delivering the innovative TraceCSO solution, enabling channel partners to offer unique services for managing an information security program including risk management, vulnerability scanning, policies, training, compliance and auditing.”

“The TraceSecurity program is designed so partners have easy access to build a ready-to-go SaaS security business model, and differentiate their offerings,” Fortier continued.  “We look forward to continuing the company’s string of record revenue years, now with a much broader reach via our new channel program.”

Leading the TraceSecurity Partner Program, Fortier joined TraceSecurity last quarter after 15 years with Cisco Systems.  At Cisco he held a variety of positions in the channel organisation, and during his last five years he was involved with creating, deploying and managing a worldwide channel program for Cisco’s Physical Security products.  Prior to Cisco, he was a general manger for several networking resellers.
