BCDVideo has expanded its enterprise-grade product line of Video Recording Platforms (VRPs) with HP’s introduction of 6TB hard drives. The Nova Series now boasts new models as well as 150% greater storage capacities on existing VRPs.

Included in the upgraded product line is the BCD310E8 Tower, which is scalable up to 24TB and engineered for retail applications that require entry-level price considerations with the benefit of remote system management.

BCDVideo also released the short-depth BCD320-SDS, a 15” (38.1cm) deep, two-bay, rack server, which can support up to 12TB of video storage and accommodate desk usage.

This versatile unit can function as either an access control server or client workstation, both with RAID 1 capabilities.

The popular 1U BCD320E8 series has expanded to a storage capability of 24TB in both redundant and non-redundant models. Earlier this month, BCDVideo also released the newest version of their BCD380V8, which offers up to 84TB in two rack spaces.

For larger storage requirements, the company has expanded its BCD350V8 series to handle up to 108TB of video storage in a tower or 5U of rack platform.

The 6U SuperNova External Drive Array Series can now record up to 420TB of video data, scalable to 1.68PB in a mere twenty-two rack spaces.

The Nova Series family includes BCDVideo’s unique SMARTtechnology, which seamlessly integrates complete system monitoring with disaster and video recovery, remote access capability, and redundant cloud retention.

This technology diminishes end-user downtime and lowers the total cost of ownership for the integrator.

The BCDVideo Nova Series platform also includes lifetime telephone support and a five-year, global, on-site hardware warranty.
