The Platinum MarCom Award is the highest level of honour bestowed by the AMCP’s international MarCom Awards programme
The DirectIP team’s ability to coordinate integrated marketing and PR efforts on a global scale was a key point of recognition
The Association of Marketing and Communications Professionals (AMCP) has announced the European rollout of the IDIS DirectIP solution as a winner of a 2013 Platinum MarCom Award.

The AMCP has honoured the leadership, creativity and budgetary stewardship in helming the marketing and outreach components in launching the industry-redefining DirectIP surveillance suite for the European security market. This included coordination by IDIS executives in Seoul, Korea, and London, UK, plus the efforts of IDIS marketing and public relations consultants Tara Farley and Benjamin Bryant. The awards looked at all aspects of a model technology and security launch: from strategic planning of marketing and public relations efforts, through tactical, on-the-ground activity, and host and event management work at IFSEC International in Birmingham, UK. The DirectIP launch team’s ability to coordinate integrated marketing and PR efforts on a global scale—including Korea, the UK, the US and mainland Europe, was a key point of recognition.

The Platinum MarCom Award is the highest level of honour bestowed by the AMCP’s international MarCom Awards programme. Fellow Platinum winners include international news icon CNN, Bell Helicopter, and the United States Department of Defense. Fellow UK-based Platinum winners include top 10 UK firm Designwerk, Telecity Group and P&W Design for their marketing efforts on behalf of Tesco.

"It is an exceptional honour to be recognised in an international form alongside fellow industry and thought leaders," noted Brian Song, Managing Director of IDIS Europe. “For IDIS and our talented consultants, the effort to successfully introduce and promote DirectIP was made all the easier by the exceptional quality and truly ground-breaking nature of DirectIP solutions.”

Marketing Consultant, Tara Farley, commented, “When an offering is as exciting and responsive to industry needs as DirectIP, it can only stand to follow that the rollout and launch must be exceptional. We are pleased that the judges in this year’s highly competitive programme recognised the passion and enthusiasm we put into our efforts in support of the launch. It really is a validation of the IDIS brand and IDIS quality.”
