The E-Series, offering the WS-E2S (NVS), WS-E3S (NVS, HVS HDVS), and now, the WS-E4S (NVS), is the most scalable enterprise class of digital video surveillance solutions in the entire WavestoreUSA product line.
The WS-E4S Network Video Server provides up to 96 TB of storage, accommodating up to twenty four 3.5” hot-swappable hard drives. The WS-E4S NVS records up to 128 channels simultaneously from an IP/megapixel configuration, with a choice of H.264, MxPEG, MPEG-4 and MJPEG compression. Audio recording is also supported. The WS-E4S Servers are designed with optional RAID-5 or RAID-6 configurations and can support iSCSI external storage for increased reliability and storage consolidation.
The WS-E4S NVS is preloaded with the latest version of Wavestore V5 Video Management Software (VMS) to allow for direct or remote connectivity offering an easy to install, cost effective surveillance solution. The WS-E4S Server captures stores and transmits video while supporting continuous data recording during maintenances to ensure no crucial video loss occurs. The WS-E4S utilises ultra-reliable Linux based software which provides a secure, robust and scalable platform for applications that easily supports updates and changes.
The WS-E4S NVS also features system diagnostics and remote maintenance access, reducing the need for site visits during emergency upgrades and allowing for scheduled maintenance as time permits. The operating system and applications are also located on a separate solid state drive which runs quieter and offers more stability and reliability.
