Started in 1961, Rottapharm is present in 90 countries worldwide with more than 1800 employees in the field of consumer healthcare products, reimbursed prescription products and natural extracts. For its Thailand based research laboratory, they were facing issue of long fingerprint identification and verification time. This was resulting long queues during the office opening and closing hours affecting productivity of the organisation. Organisation was looking for a fool proof biometric time-attendance solution which is faster as well as accurate and also hygienic as it is going to be used in R&D lab room. They also wanted to control unauthorised access in lab room.

For better result with different palm template positions, Matrix has designed multi palm template feature where user’s palm is enrolled in different positions. This leads to accurate and fast identification and verification of time and at the same time more satisfaction with contactless technology.

Matrix has also offered its web based COSEC Time-Attendance software to manage 400 employees and 6 devices from a central place. COSEC Time-Attendance is a flexible, scalable and field-configurable enterprise-grade solution which automates all time-attendance processes right from recoding entries and exits up to processing salaries. HR can create and assign different attendance, leave, shift policies. Also, customised time-attendance reports can be used for salary calculation and other purpose.
