Eagle Eye Networks, the global pioneer in cloud video surveillance, announced single sign-on support with SAML 2.0. Single sign-on (SSO) is a session enterprise authentication service that permits a user to leverage one synchronised set of credentials to access the enterprise’s entire suite of applications. Customers can easily add or revoke access to Eagle Eye Cloud VMS via their Active Directory or LDAP.
“Eagle Eye Networks is known for its open architecture, enabling customers to leverage third party partnerships to enhance operational efficiency. By introducing single sign on we are leveraging our architecture to streamline and standardise the sign on experience for our customers.” said Dean Drako, CEO of Eagle Eye Networks.
SAML authentication
Enterprise advantages of incorporating SAML authentication:
- Security: Using a single point of authentication ensures better security.
- Simplified User Experience: Using company credentials to log into Eagle Eye Networks Cloud VMS, eliminates the need to store and secure a separate set of credentials.
- Standardisation: Leveraging SAML, a standardised that may be used independent of its implementation, eliminates barriers associated with vendor or platform-specific architecture.
- Reduced administrative costs: Business owners and employees access multiple applications with a single set of credentials, making them more efficient.
