Codelocks has introduced the CL5000 NetCode® range which adds Codelocks’ time-sensitive code functionality, NetCode®, to its best-selling, heavy-duty electronic CL5000 access control solution for high-traffic areas.
Launched in 2004, the original CL5000 has stood the test of time over the last 20 years. The addition of NetCode® technology takes the CL5000’s solid build, ease of installation and operation, and low maintenance features to the next level with the added benefits of temporary, time-sensitive access codes that provide an increased level of control.

Matt Welty, Vice President, Americas at Codelocks Inc. said: “By adding Codelocks NetCode® Technology to the strengths of our best-selling CL5000 lock, we are giving customers the ability to grant temporary access codes to remote locations. NetCodes® can be issued with a specific start date, time and duration that will expire automatically, for complete access control. So, an authorised person can access a location unaccompanied, on a specified date and time for a specified period."

Welty added: “This version of the long-established CL5000 is particularly useful where someone needs temporary access. That’s the case at LA-based Cage Riot Studios. They use the CL5210 NetCode® mortise tubular latch model to effortlessly and remotely manage access control for the musicians and artists who use its recording and rehearsal studios. The musicians book a time slot through Cage Riot Studio’s website, and the studio manager logs into the Codelocks Connect Portal to create a one-time access code for the booking. The code is emailed to the musicians, who then have hassle-free self-service access to the space.”
The CL5000 NetCode® lock range comes in a Brushed Steel finish, and it is available in different models as a CL5000 NetCode® Panic Kit, CL5210 NetCode® Mortise Tubular Latch, and CL5250 NetCode® Mortise Lock.
