With more than 11 years of experience with another Dutch multinational company (the Hunter Douglas Group, active in window blinds and coverings), Mr. Jim Tan is the ideal leader to lead the Boon Edam South East Asia subsidiary company–based in Kuala Lumpur.

Talking with him earlier this week, he said, “I am honoured by the confidence placed in me to carry on the legacy of Royal Boon Edam in my own backyard, here in South East Asia. Great advancements have been made before me and exciting challenges lie ahead in making Boon Edam South East Asia more efficient and effective whilst strengthening the sales network and its profitability.”

BESEA subsidiary company

With the responsibility to manage the BESEA subsidiary company, I feel the trust and commitment shown by the group; enabling us to collectively strive even harder and making me want to walk that extra mile.”

Having covered responsibilities in senior positions in the supply chain, inventory management, manufacturing, as well as sales, marketing, and business development in the entire Asian region, Jim brings a wealth of expertise and experience which will not only greatly benefit the local Malaysian sales and operations, but also take their distribution and support function for South East Asia region to the next level.

Boon Edam South East Asia is part of Royal Boon Edam International BV. It was established in June 2011. Besides being a sales and service subsidiary for the Malaysian market, the company also functions as the distribution and support centre for the Asia Pacific Region.
