Messe Frankfurt’s ASMAG Security & IoT published its 2020 Security 50 list, naming BCD International as one of the 50 “most influential security companies in the world.” Of the 50 companies listed, six were from North America. BCD International ranked No. 3 among North American companies, and No. 28 overall. BCD International was among seven newcomers to make this year’s list, posting a 36 percent growth in revenue from 2018 to 2019.

Jeff Burgess, CEO of BCD International, noted the company’s success is a direct result of the drive to continue innovating and providing solutions to address the problems and technological shortfalls within the industry.

Glass server management

“Perhaps what drives us is that we are never satisfied, nor do we rest on our laurels. By listening to our customers and sharing technology philosophies with our vendor partners, we can push the envelope, or what we consider be a ‘positive technology disruptor,’” said Burgess.

“Their talent led to the development of intellectual properties, such as our recent DELL iDRAC and VMware integrations into Genetec Security Centre, both allowing single pane of glass server management from the desktop, not the IT server room." The combined 2019 revenue of the Security 50 companies totaled $25.8 billion, with an average growth rate of 9.3 percent from the previous year.
