Azena is returning to ISC West in 2022 to showcase the world’s largest and fastest-growing open platform marketplace for smart cameras that provides flexible, innovative video analytics solutions for the dynamic business needs of systems integrators and end-users in a variety of vertical markets.

The Azena Application Store offers more than 100 AI-enabled, ready-to-use analytic applications that can be downloaded onto smart cameras and flexibly combined for tailormade solutions. The Azena smart camera platform and Application Store will be highlighted at the Azena ISC West booth #23075, March 22-25, at the Venetian Expo, Las Vegas.

Azena platform

The Azena platform enables smart cameras to simultaneously run multiple apps directly on the device. Integrators can flexibly add or change apps on one or multiple cameras as needed for their customers, using cameras from a growing roster of manufacturers and form factors, and build and deploy their custom solutions using the Azena platform.

At ISC West, apps available from the Azena Application Store from third-party developers will be on display, demonstrating solutions for transportation, stadiums, oil and gas, manufacturing and logistics, healthcare, and retail. These vertical solutions will be presented cohesively in an interactive “smart city” environment.

Smart cameras

The rapid pace of innovation in video analytics as a tool for enhancing security, operational intelligence, and automation is finally being matched by the growing ease of deployment of smart cameras using these analytics,” said Hartmut Schaper, chief executive officer, Azena.

We are excited to return to ISC West to showcase our expanding array of solutions and our developer, camera manufacturer, and technology partners who help us to deliver the value of smart cameras to organisations around the world.”

Enhanced device management, remote access

Integrators will find a host of new features in the Azena platform designed to increase the flexibility of solutions and streamline their business processes, such as enhanced device management capabilities and remote access - without a VPN - for diagnosis and maintenance to cameras on a customer site, using Azena’s digital twin architecture.

The platform offers a wide range of integration options to connect to VMS systems, dashboard software, access control systems, other apps, or other cameras.

AI analytics

Integrators and their customers can also employ an AI-box appliance that provides access to AI analytics apps

Integrators and their customers can also employ an AI-box appliance that provides access to AI analytics apps on the Application Store to already installed cameras.

This enables integrators to quickly create sophisticated end-to-end solutions using a customer’s existing infrastructure. These types of solutions as implemented in customer projects across verticals will be presented in a dedicated spotlight area at the Azena booth.

Panel discussion

To further explore the growing value of smart cameras, Azena will be hosting a panel discussion featuring speakers from firms like Prosegur, the Open Security & Safety Alliance, Novaira Insights, and Milestone Systems.

“Redefining Cameras: How to use business intelligence metrics to drive additional value from surveillance” will take place from 1-2 pm PST, Tuesday, March 22, Venetian 302, Level 1. Azena executives Justin Frints, vice president of operating systems, and Fabio Marti, vice president marketing, will join executives from these companies to discuss the power of smart cameras as tools for increasing operational efficiency.
