Axis is announcing a joint integration between Genetec’s Security Centre SynergisTM and the recently announced AXIS A1601 Network Door Controller. This integration addresses the needs of medium and large-sized organisations with multiple sites.

This new integration to Genetec’s Security Centre SynergisTM extends the combined offerings for physical access control to more clearly address advanced access management requirements. As a result, administrators can now manage all door controllers in offline or online mode.

Using Axis open platform, AXIS A1601 is specifically designed to run on an organisation’s preferred third-party software. By using Power over Ethernet (PoE), the new AXIS A1601 delivers high levels of processing power, memory and storage. These features mean the solution is reliable and convenient for larger sites and more complex access management needs.
