Avigilon Corporation, a trusted provider of business intelligence and security solutions, announced the opening of its new office in Assembly Row, located outside of Boston in Somerville, Massachusetts. Somerville Mayor, the Honourable Joseph Curtatone will attend a ribbon-cutting ceremony to officially open the new office at noon EST on February 12, 2016.

Augmenting research and development efforts

Located in Boston's thriving technology community, Avigilon's Analytics and Data Science Centre of Excellence aims to further the company's research and development efforts. In this new location, Avigilon will have access to top talent to further accelerate its innovation and growth plans.

Our new office location is in close proximity to some of the world's leading universities in analytics and data science, and is poised to attract the area's best tech talent to support research and development," said Dr. Mahesh Saptharishi, Avigilon's Chief Technology Officer.

Avigilon will occupy nearly 33,000 square feet of the building for employees in Product Development and Product Management.
