The YG80 is powered by a Super Capacitor instead of a battery backup, ensuring increased reliability and life expectancy

From BQT, the Ava Group launches the latest software integration between their miPASS Access TMS software and Paxton’s Net2 access control software. The integration enables the seamless addition of BQT biometric readers to new or existing Net2 systems, facilitating a smooth transition from less secure card technologies to more robust options like fingerprint biometrics and BQT’s own miPASS credentials.

Capacitor powered YG80 door lock

BQT Solutions is also pleased to be launching their latest roller door lock this month - YG80 or Orca lock. BQT has built on the success of the highly popular YG10 to offer a host of additional features to cater to a broader range of applications. These include a tamper detection switch and an internal heater for cold storage and transportation environment requirements.

Furthermore, the YG80 is powered by a Super Capacitor instead of a battery backup, ensuring increased reliability and life expectancy. The unit is highly robust in extreme weather conditions, with a 3‐meter flying cable through an IP67 rated cable gland.
