Attestiv Inc. will showcase its new video deepfake detection platform that allows enterprises and individuals to analyse videos or social links to videos for deepfake content at the Silicon Slopes Summit, January 14-17.

The summit will be hosted in multiple locations throughout the week in both Utah and Salt Lake Valley.

Attestiv apps and APIs

Attestiv's technology takes any digital media (including photos, videos, documents, sensor data, telemetry data, etc.) that is captured by Attestiv apps and APIs or imported from any external source to identify if it has been altered or tampered with.

It allows anyone to analyse videos or social links to videos for deepfake content. The solution is powered by proprietary AI analysis that provides scoring and a comprehensive breakdown of fake elements, pinpointing exactly where they are found in each video.

Attestiv’s technology

Attestiv’s technology is helpful for businesses in sectors demanding the highest levels of integrity

With the launch of its deepfake detection tool, Attestiv offers the fastest, most reliable way to evaluate the legitimacy of digital videos helping businesses and individuals protect themselves against fraud, losses and reputational damage.

Attestiv’s technology is especially helpful for businesses in sectors demanding the highest levels of integrity, security and compliance, such as banking, insurance, real estate, media and healthcare.

Fake and fraud detection

We’ve become used to believing what we see, particularly when it comes to videos and media. Businesses and individuals risk negative consequences when failing to recognise a deepfake video or videos that have been otherwise altered. Attestiv can help level the playing field."

"We’ve taken years of fake and fraud detection experience, proven in demanding insurance applications, and made it available for everyone to protect themselves and their businesses from this cyber threat that can cause immense reputational and monetary harm,” said Attestiv founder and CEO Nicos Vekiarides.

How Attestiv works

Attestiv’s cloud-scale deepfake video detection software uses our patented, proprietary AI and machine learning (ML) technology to uncover evidence of tampering or synthetic elements within media files. This includes deepfakes as well as edits and other alterations. The process encompasses three main steps:

  • Upload video via the Attestiv Video web app or API
  • Analysis and tamper detection
  • Validation and reporting

Overall suspicion rating

Videos are captured and analysed through the Attestiv Video app or using APIs. The process runs a forensic scan which generates an overall suspicion rating on a scale from 1 to 100, allowing the user to gauge the authenticity of the video.

Silicon Slopes Summit is Utah’s original and longest-running grassroots tech event. It provides entrepreneurs, startups, and pioneers the resources and community they need to succeed. Attestiv will be in booth #23.
