ASSA ABLOY Security Doors, a UK division of ASSA ABLOY, a global provider in door opening solutions, has manufactured a high-security doorset for upmarket residential developments.

Following a surge in demand by architects, specifiers and contractors for high-end residential doors that combine robust protection with a premium finish, ASSA ABLOY Security Doors has developed a bespoke doorset solution that combines detailed aesthetics with secure protection.

High-level security and access control

Adapted from the organisation’s high security Safeguard timber range, the new doorset is available with the highly sought after Pickersgill-Kaye multi-point locking system, discretely morticed into the door.

The doors can be designed with a range of features, including raised and fielded panelling, specialist wood veneers and other bespoke finishes, providing a door that offers high levels of security and access control, while subtly blending in with the interior features of a high-end residential building.

All ironmongery is fitted at ASSA ABLOY Security Door’s manufacturing facility, meaning the doorset can also be delivered ready to be installed.

Custom built and site specific door safety

Nigel Cronin, Regional Sales Manager at ASSA ABLOY Security Doors, said: “This tailored solution is a response from architects, specifiers and contractors, requiring doorsets for clients that must deliver strong protection with a premium, high-end look. Applications for the doors include front entrances, safe refuges and strong rooms.”

With the capability to build custom-made doorsets, based on individual, site-specific requirements, this new offering satisfies a need for safety and security but not at the expense of aesthetics.”
