ASSA ABLOY, the global leader in door opening solutions, has announced the integration of its Aperio wireless lock technology and its IP-enabled PoE (Power over Ethernet) and WiFi access control locks with BluB0X’s BluSKY IoT Security Platform for Access Control and Video.

The Aperio integration offers customers an easy, affordable way to connect additional openings to their new and existing installations utilising BluSKY’s cloud-based platform.

Aperio is a global wireless platform available across a broad range of locking hardware from ASSA ABLOY Group brands, offering the flexibility to address a variety of applications throughout any facility. The IP integration offers options for expanding their physical security system using existing network infrastructure

Expanding physical security system

The IP integration offers end-users more options for expanding their physical security system easily and affordably using existing network infrastructure.

The range of IP-enabled products from ASSA ABLOY Group brands CORBIN RUSSWIN and SARGENT include WiFi locks that connect to a host system through an 802.11b/g/n WiFi network.

The range also includes IEEE 802.3af compliant Power over Ethernet (PoE) locks that connect to the local area network (LAN) utilising a single Ethernet cable for both power and data.
