AMG Systems is participating in a trade delegation to the Baltic states, helping to spread the word about the strength of the UK security industry and how AMG can play a part in providing solutions for security-critical projects in the region.

The trade delegation, organised through the UK Department for International Trade, will visit Vilnius in Lithuania, Riga in Latvia and Tallinn in Estonia. Each event will be opened by the British Ambassador for that country, and will include presentations from UK companies and local stakeholders. Current projects and the challenges faced will be discussed, and there will also be an exhibition area and networking opportunities.

Communication transmission solutions

AMG’s Sales and Technical Support Manager Ian Creary is the company’s representative on the Baltics trade mission. “It’s always a privilege to be involved in a trade mission of this kind,” he says. “I’m proud to be able to discuss the ways in which UK security companies, and AMG Systems specifically, can help to overcome challenges and provide solutions for regional projects.”

AMG Systems is a UK manufacturer and a global provider of environmentally robust fibre, analogue, IP/Ethernet, wireless and hybrid communication transmission solutions. AMG’s intelligent, industrial grade, robust edge-of-network transmission solutions have been used extensively in CCTV and security systems, as well as in sectors as diverse as the oil & gas, critical infrastructure, defence and transport industries. Based in Biggleswade, Bedfordshire, AMG Systems prides itself on its in-house capabilities.

In-house transmission control

“We are the only UK-based IP and Ethernet transmission product manufacturer and solution provider,” Ian Creary says. “The secure transmission of video images and data is critical to a massive range of companies and organisations, and we believe that our ability to design, manufacture and implement solutions for customers gives us the control to ensure that our customers’ systems are designed and implemented as securely as possible.”

This level of in-house control means AMG’s products are less vulnerable to cybersecurity attacks than other companies, which rely on third-party hardware and software, and allows AMG to live up to its tagline: ‘Putting the ‘secure’ back into Security’.

The UK Security Trade Mission visits the Baltic states October 24-26.
