The Security Industry Association (SIA) has named Tia M. Eskandari, PMP®, Director of Service, Allied Universal Technology Services® (AUTS) as a recipient of the 2022 SIA Women in Security Forum (WISF) Scholarship, a program developed by the SIA Women in Security Forum to further educational opportunities and promote advancement for the widest spectrum of people possible in the security industry.
“I am deeply honoured to have been chosen for this scholarship,” said Tia M. Eskandari, Director of Service, Allied Universal Technology Services®. “I will continue to do my part to lead change and pave the way for women and diversity in our industry. My plan is to use the scholarship to further my process improvement and change management training in 2023.”

In addition to Tia M. Eskandari, the SIA awarded six other women. Each honouree is awarded $10,000 to use toward continuing education and professional development courses, conferences or webinars, SIA program offerings, repayment of student loan debt or other academic pursuits.
