Aiphone has updated its GT video intercom system with the introduction of a new high resolution camera and a 7” LCD monitor screen.

GT video intercom system

The GT system was introduced by Aiphone as a flexible and easy to use video intercom system for small multi-tenant buildings to large private housing developments. Over the years it has also proved to be popular with installers looking for a cost-effective and aesthetically attractive solution for commercial buildings, education campuses and healthcare environments.

Supporting up to 500 video intercom stations, the GT system offers handset and hands-free communication with up to 4 security guard stations and 16 entry panels, which are equipped with 170-degree PTZ cameras to enable tenants to have clear visibility of visitors.

IP expansion plans

“We intend to continually improve the GT system in response to evolving market requirements,” said Wyatt Taylor, Sales Manager of Aiphone UK Ltd. “We have just released an upgraded camera unit and new monitor stations that take advantage of the clearer picture. We are also planning to introduce an IP expansion and redesigned entrance station panels during the summer of 2017. The good news is that existing as well new users will be able to take advantage of these incremental improvements in the GT system.”
