Abloy is slated to showcase its latest range of high-quality compliant locking solutions, including low energy electric locks, LPCB-rated padlocks, and its revolutionary PROTEC2 CLIQ Connect System at the Security & Counter Terror Expo 2018.

Scheduled to take place at London’s Olympia Centre, from 6th to 7th March, SCTX is UK's leading national security event for professionals responsible for protecting businesses, national infrastructure, governments and entire nations against terrorism.

Abloy’s Electric Locking Solutions on display

Visitors to Abloy’s stand can see an interactive demonstration of numerous electric locking solutions, get hands-on with the company’s collection of mechanical and electro-mechanical padlocks, and learn how Abloy products can be combined to help achieve dynamic lockdown.

Abloy will also be demonstrating PROTEC2 CLIQ, a web-based security management solution that allows for the remote management of large electronic master-keyed sites at any time, from anywhere in the world.

PROTEC2 CLIQ web security management solution

The PROTEC2 CLIQ system provides comprehensive audit trails on cylinders and padlocks, recording who used each key, where and when with the ability to remove permissions quickly and easily for lost or stolen keys from the system, thereby providing secure key management always.

The latest innovation of the system - CLIQ Connect - utilises a revolutionary highly encrypted online management system that uses advanced Bluetooth 4.0 technology, enabling users to update keys wirelessly from their smartphone.

CLIQ Connect

Steve Wintle, Head of CNI at Abloy UK, said: “We’re keen to speak with security specifiers at SCTX to discuss the current threat of terrorism and the role of access control in preventing potential attacks and providing a quick response when needed. To achieve dynamic lockdown, an organisation needs the ability to quickly restrict access and egress to a site or building - or areas in the building - through physical measures in response to a threat.”

He added, “By combining a number of our access control devices – such as Abloy padlocks, electric locks, and PROTEC2 CLIQ – a bespoke and effective security provision can be created to ensure maximum security.
