Abloy UK is showcasing its range of compliant and secure locking solutions at Lockex 2016, and inviting visitors to discuss important current topics affecting the industry – such as the introduction of the new £1 coin next year.

Taking place at the Ricoh Arena, Coventry, from 16th – 18th September, Lockex 2016 allows visitors to experience products and services from an array of renowned industry suppliers all under one roof.

New £1 coin

Visitors to Abloy’s stand 77 will be able to discuss the locking options and business opportunities created with a new £1 coin coming into circulation in March 2017, and representatives will be on hand to present Abloy’s solutions to this issue. These include conversion kits and replacement locks for lockers, such as the ‘Classic’ coin lock, E-Lite coin lock, RFID and Digital solutions.

Locking products on show

Abloy will also be showcasing its range of Super Weather Proof Padlocks, in which the components are extremely well protected to ensure operation in all conditions. Security is guaranteed even with regular exposure to extreme heat or cold, storm-driven salt water or fine desert dust.

In addition to this, Abloy’s leading range of Electromechanical Locks, High Security Cylinders and Electric Locks will also be on display.
