SimplyRFID and LILIN are proud to announce their new partnership
Teamed with SimplyRFID’s NOX software, LILIN’s iMEGAPRO camera series serves as a significant support to  the access-control/asset-tracking industry.

Video surveillance is utilized in most business operations today. However, it is not always easy to determine when or where to look on a camera recording. With asset-tracking software, surveillance video becomes more searchable. Realising a need for assimilation between the world of video and this form of access control, SimplyRFID and LILIN are proud to announce their new partnership and integration combining the LILIN iMEGAPRO HD IP camera series with SimplyRFID’s NOX asset-tracking software.

Here is how the integration will work: Using SimplyRFID’s NOX asset-tracking, all items will be tagged with RFID or radio frequency identification. Accordingly, all doors and windows will have RFID readers installed with LILIN IP video cameras mounted above them. If a person walks out of a room with an RFID-tagged item, the system will trigger an alert. This alert can be programmed to be sent to a mobile device, a security office, or wherever else the client chooses. In addition to the alert, a video shot of whoever is carrying that tagged item through the secured area will be captured.

RFID tags can be detected through backpacks, briefcases, or even cardboard boxes. Now, with LILIN as a fully integrated SimplyRFID partner, a crystal clear HD picture of the culprit carrying the item can accompany the event alert. This innovative “in-the-box” security bundle will be available to value-added resellers through BlueStar Latin America, Inc in July of 2012.
