Flexible positioning of your TV screen or projector
The GigaView 821 provides the ultimate combination of ease-of-use, flexibility and interior design. Its wireless capability means it is not necessary to lay cables from your HD sources to your TV or projector. As a result, it is easy to position the TV or to change its location without having to deal with a mass of corresponding cables. Connecting a TV in the kitchen to a decoder in the living room has never been so easy! The infrared ‘pass trough’ also means that you can continue to operate the HD devices even though they are out of sight.
So how does it work?
The GigaView 821 comprises two stylised boxes which serve as transmitter and receiver respectively. The receiver is connected to the TV and the transmitter can be connected to a maximum of 2 (HD) devices. This includes Blu-ray players, digital video recorders (DVRs), HD set-top boxes, gaming consoles (PS3 or Xbox 360), Media Centre PCs or standard DVD players/recorders. Switching between these devices is simple with one press of a button on the remote control supplied.
3D
The Marmitek GigaView 821 supports all 3D resolutions. This has never been seen before in Europe. It will also, of course, effortlessly transmit 2D signals. The product fulfils the HDCP standard which means there is maximum compatibility with other HDMI equipment.
Uncompressed
With the GigaView 821, the HD signal wirelessly bridges a distance of up to 25 metres (line of sight; up to 15m with obstacles) to the HDTV or projector without any loss of quality. The Marmitek GigaView 821 transmits the 1080p signal without first compressing it. The wirelessly received signal is then sent on without any delay (ideal for game consoles) and with exactly the same properties as when it would be transmitted via a top quality HDMI cable.
