Dycon, a leading British developer and manufacturer of advanced, switched mode power supply units, has added an exciting new range of PoE power supplies suitable for a whole variety of applications.

The D1800 Series provides a simple way of powering a wide range of network peripherals, without the need for individual localised power supply units. These peripherals include:

  • IP network-based cameras (fixed or PTZ)
  • IP phones
  • Access control systems
  • POS terminals
  • Any other IP devices that require local power

Using the D1800 Series removes the need to provide 230v AC power next to these peripherals, and therefore makes installation simpler and less expensive. A further benefit is that these peripheral devices can be relocated at any time by simply plugging in the network cable from the new position, eliminating the need to look for a local 230v AC power point.

The D1816 switched mode high PoE power supply provides an impressive 30 watts output from each of its 16 ports (480 watts in total).

In common with all Dycon switched mode power supplies, the D1800 Series uses considerably less power than conventional linear units providing a “greener” and more cost-effective solution.

Features:

  • Compliance to: IEEE802.3at and 802.3af, RoHS, WEEE and CE
  • Available in 4 models: D1804 (4 ports), D1808 (8 ports), D1812
  • (12 ports) and D1816 (16 ports)
  • 19-inch rack mounting format
  • 230v AC power input
  • Simple plug-in installation with 2 x RJ-45 network connectors per port
