The HES 8500 Series Electric Strike is a high-quality access control solution for mortise lock

At ASIS 2011, HES is showcasing the new 8500 Series, the first concealed electric strike to release mortise locksets. This innovative, labor-saving design requires no cutting of the frame under normal installation. The result is a fast, easy installation with a flawless finish.

"Installing an electric strike for mortise locksets used to be complicated, requiring significant cutting into door frames," said Tamara Hatzinger, Director of Brand Management. "HES has again reset the standard and raised the bar by providing a concealed electric strike for mortise locksets that features fast, labor-saving installation with no frame cutting in normal installations."

The HES 8500 Series Electric Strike is a high-quality access control solution for mortise locks, which are used widely in commercial applications. The versatile 8500 features a single model that works with most ¾" mortise latchbolts with deadlatches. Strong and durable, the 8500 electric strike features ANSI/BHMA A156.31 Grade 1 Strength and a UL10C 3-hour fire rating when used with a single door.
