Agent Vi is releasing new versions of its video analytics solutions - Vi-Search (video search and analysis solution) and Vi-System (real-time detection and alert solution) - offering exciting, new features and performance enhancements.

Vi-Search, designed to index and analyse surveillance video for rapid and automated search for specific events and targets in the video, now introduces Vi-Search Version 2.0 which includes "offline search" capabilities, whereby pre-recorded video clips from virtually any source can be imported into Vi-Search. This offline search functionality allows forensic investigators to perform automated analysis of existing video sources, saving significant time and labor associated with manual review of recorded clips. It also enables ad-hoc use of Vi-Search for analysis of specific video clips, when the need arises. This functionality has been added to Vi-Search's existing capability of indexing video streams during recording - an operational mode which allows search of the stored video at any moment, without any need for importing.

Vi-Search Version 2.0 also features a new "site map" functionality, designed to project motion data gathered from individual cameras deployed at one site onto a complete site map. This allows retailers and other facility operators to gain a greater understanding of motion (traffic) patterns and trends throughout their site.

Additional performance enhancements are also included in Vi-System Version 4.1, allowing for improved detection performance in a variety of challenging environments such as outdoor and crowded indoor scenes.

In parallel to continued development and enhancement of the company's solutions, Agent Vi also promotes the integration of its products with third party products through its Technology Partner Program (TPP). Already, Agent Vi's products are integrated with those of dozens of technology companies from around the globe.

The new versions will be featured during ASIS tradeshow in Orlando, FL., USA, Sept. 19-21, booth# 1325.
