Keyware access control systems to be part of RISCO Group's integrated security and building management solutions

RISCO Group, a leading provider of Integrated Security Solutions, has acquired Keyware SA from its previous owner, Keyware Technologies NV.  The company, based in Brussels, Belgium, is a leading European manufacturer of access control systems.  The acquisition is another step RISCO Group is taking to increase its range of solutions and competitiveness in the security and access control market.

Keyware SA designs and develops Access Control hardware and software solutions in Brussels, Belgium, and has subsidiaries in France and Switzerland.  Keyware SA was the fully owned security division of Keyware Technologies NV, a publicly traded company on the Brussels Stock Exchange.  Keyware Technologies NV is a provider of identity-related solutions and services including hardware, software applications and transaction services for time & attendance, physical access and alarm management.

"We are very pleased to embrace the Keyware access control line of business into RISCO Group" said Mr. Moshe Alkelai, CEO and Chairman of RISCO Group.  "Keyware has well known professional products and together with RISCO Group's integrated security systems and solutions will empower our position in the access control market and increase our share in key markets in the security field worldwide".

Mr. Alkelai went on to say, "This acquisition will enhance RISCO Group's growth opportunities worldwide by utilizing our current distribution network and branch offices to market the Keyware brand while also giving us extra channels to promote RISCO Group's current range of products".

All branch offices including Keyware branches in Belgium, France and Switzerland will now sell all RISCO Group's brands: RISCO Group's high-end software solutions, Rokonet and GardTec intrusion alarm systems and detectors and Keyware access control systems.

RISCO Group will continue to invest in developing Keyware Access Control solutions to compete with the current and future developments in the market.  As a leading manufacturer of advanced security solutions, RISCO Group aims to integrate Keyware Access Control products into all future solutions provided by the Group.
