ASL showcased new surveillance platform, iVENCS 3D, at IFSEC 2010
iVENCS is the first in a new generation of 3D-based situation management and integrated control platforms

ASL's iVENCS 3D control system debuted at IFSEC 2010 which took place from 10 - 13 May.

ASL (Hall 5 Stand D85) unveiled iVENCS, the first in a new generation of 3D-based situation management and integrated control platforms. iVENCS is an infrastructure-scale offering aimed at mission-critical facilities where global disaster recovery and lifelike visualisation of events are paramount.

iVENCS is a sensor and event fusion environment in which voice, data and video can be easily filtered, analysed and directed from across the full spectrum of subsystems found on major projects including CCTV, access control, perimeter intrusion, telephony, BMS, vehicle barriers, fire, intercom, data networks, Passenger Information Displays, Public Address and Voice Alarm.

At IFSEC 2010 ASL demonstrated iVENCS in use at a major international airport and at St. Pancras International, currently Europe's busiest rail hub and a successful case study for iVENCS with over 8,500 field devices across 16 sub-systems.

Edge based advanced video analytics from ASL Vision were shown on the stand including indoor/outdoor demonstrations of video smoke and fire detection and camera stitching, all running on ASL's intelligent video encoders.

On Wednesday 12th May, ASL gave an iVENCS case study presentation in Hall 5 seminar theatre.
