Panasonic's 4-camera/NVR bundles provide advanced IP performance and functionality

Panasonic System Networks Company of America is offering special promotional pricing for two economical IP network camera/NVR bundled systems. Available with four H.264 megapixel or digital IP network cameras, the new bundled systems deliver high performance recording for small business video surveillance applications. Both are ideal for a wide variety of small business applications including convenience stores and fast-food restaurants.

Panasonic's new bundled IP systems introduced at ISC West are available with megapixel or digital IP network cameras. The megapixel bundle includes four Panasonic BB-HCM705A megapixel mini-dome pan-tilt-zoom network cameras packaged with a Panasonic WJ-ND200 network video recorder (NVR) that provides 320GB of hard disk drive capacity. The BB-HCM705A is a megapixel progressive scan camera that features Panasonic's UniPhier system LSI platform for improved processing, and selectable H.264, MPEG4 and JPEG compression at up to 30fps. Additional features include pan, tilt and 6x digital zoom operation with presets and 0.07lux colour low light viewing mode. Panasonic is also offering a bundled IP camera/NVR package that incorporates four Panasonic BB-HCM701A network cameras featuring 3x digital zoom and 0.04lux colour low light viewing mode.

Additional features of Panasonic's BB-HCM705A and BB-HCM701A cameras include Power over Ethernet (PoE, 802.3af compliant), SD memory card recording, remote monitoring from a cell phone, built-in Web server/IP address (IPv4/v6), a built-in microphone and password protection. The cameras also feature plug-and-play installation, multi-language interface and an image date and time stamp.

Both new bundles include Panasonic's WJ-ND200 NVR to record the highest quality details. The unit supports H.264 compression and features removable hot-swappable hard disk drives, alarm recording and variable frame-rate and picture-quality settings.

The limited time offer is valid between March 1, 2010 and May 30, 2010.
