The German Telekom uses a 24-Canal-XBL-Logger-System from artec technologies, in order to generate TV-broadcast recording and video-clips for on demand offer of the IPTV platform T-Home Entertain. It acts as a network-suited Multimediarecorder for transmission-points, broadcast recording and video on demand production as well as a IPTV middleware solution. The XBL Logger can record up to eight TV and radio stations in different qualities, during periods from 10 to 180 days. artec reached further success in October 2008 with the sale of a XBL Broadcast Logger System to a press agency in the Emirate Qatar.
