The integration with 3VR VisionPoint VMS allows live or recorded video from 3VR system to integrate with Symmetry access control alarms and events
As a certified partner, 3VR VisionPoint VMS integrates with AMAG Symmetry access control system

AMAG Technology, an integrated security provider of access control, video management and identity management solutions, is proud to announce that 3VR is now a certified member of AMAG’s Symmetry Preferred Partner Program. As a certified partner, 3VR’s VisionPoint™ VMS integrates with AMAG’s Symmetry™ Access Control System. AMAG Technology and 3VR cooperatively tested and certified this integration.

“We welcome 3VR to the Symmetry Preferred Partner Program and look forward to a long-term relationship with them,” said AMAG Technology, Vice President of Product Marketing, Dave Ella. “The integration with 3VR’s VisionPoint VMS allows live or recorded video from the 3VR system to integrate with Symmetry access control alarms and events. The integration also allows end users to have more choice when it comes to product selection.”

AMAG & 3VR integration

“Integrating 3VR’s VMS with access control systems like Symmetry allows us to give customers visual context around the information gathered from badges, access codes and alarms,” said Uma Welingkar, Vice President of Product Management for 3VR. “This partnership helps customers make sense of the data they are gathering so they can make informed decisions and take appropriate actions.”

The 3VR VisionPoint VMS integration with the Symmetry Access Control system provides a single console that uses the Symmetry interface to search and view live and recorded video using specific events triggered in Symmetry. The integration provides the ability to manage and view 3VR VMS servers and associated channels. Customers can use the Symmetry Virtual Matrix to view video and manipulate PTZ cameras, and can play back recorded video from any camera connected to 3VR’s VisionPoint VMS. Customers can also monitor and report on events within Symmetry based on 3VR’s motion detection capabilities.
