Counter Terror Expo was recently awarded the coveted Best Trade Launch Show by AEO
Counter Terror Expo, a unique event, is heading to the prestigious National Hall of London Olympia
The world leading Counter Terror Expo is heading to the prestigious National Hall of London Olympia. Bringing together governmental agencies, security services, law enforcement and leading specialists and technologists for two full days of high level debate against a backdrop of an extensive exhibition, the event is set once again to be the principal conference and showcase of the year within this arena.

"Counter Terror Expo set the benchmark when it launched and we're now delighted to announce that with the move to our new home, we're bringing to the world of counter terrorism a much expanded conference, exhibition and workshop programme carefully designed to prompt debate and nurture new concepts in the ever ongoing battle to beat the menace of international terrorism," says Peter Jones, Managing Director, Counter Terror Expo.

Four key conference strands will form the forum through which specific counter terrorism themes will be addressed by in excess of a hundred speakers from across the globe. Sixty free-to-attend specialist workshops will focus in on key aspects of counter terrorism strategy and technology, whilst the extensive exhibition space will be home to world's leading defence and security contractors delivering both informative and interactive demonstration of the latest counter terror hardware and software solutions.

Counter Terror Expo includes an extensive exhibition of the latest high technology defence and security solutions and features a programme of specialist workshops

With ten months still to go before the Counter Terror Expo doors open at London Olympia, over a hundred and thirty leading vendors have already secured space at the event, including multinational companies, Lockheed Martin, Technocover, Rapiscan, L3 Security & Detection Systems, Gunnebo and very many others.

"Counter Terror Expo is a unique event, which presents a unique opportunity to vendors in the defence and security sectors, to demonstrate their ability before a qualified audience at the sharp end in delivering a strategic and practical counter terrorism capability. Counter Terror Expo is therefore the leading event for vendors in this challenging but vitally important field," adds Mr. Jones.

The success of Counter Terror Expo reflects the fact that international terrorism remains the gravest of concerns for governments the world over. Although the major attacks have been centred primarily in South Asia (India and Pakistan) over recent months, there remains a grim realisation that western countries remain firmly in the cross hairs and guarding against the possibility of a terrorist outrage is of paramount importance.
