Integrated Systems Russia will be held from 8-10 December 2009
The third edition of Integrated Systems Russia will increase business opportunities for exhibitors and visitors
When the third edition of Integrated Systems Russia opens its doors on Tuesday, 8 December, it will be far more than merely another regional tradeshow for the professional AV and electronic systems market. Co-organisers Integrated Systems Events and MidExpo have announced a string of new attractions, all designed to boost attendance, and increase business opportunities for exhibitors and visitors alike.

Among the new attractions will be special pavilions for Russian manufacturers and for conferencing; a greatly enhanced ‘Digital Education' area featuring real-world room AV solutions; and a ‘ProIntegration Awards' programme for the Russian and CIS markets, to celebrate best practice in regional systems design and integration.

Mike Blackman, Managing Director, Integrated Systems Events, comments: "After a productive and successful meeting of the IS Russia Advisory Board last month, we agreed to develop the show in a number of directions in order to maximise value for our exhibitors, visitors and supporting associations. The innovations we are now announcing will reinforce IS Russia's position as a key event in the global AV industry tradeshow calendar, for both commercial and residential systems technologies."

All the new show features will be augmented with specially tailored seminars as part of IS Russia's enhanced education and conference programme, while the ProIntegration Awards will be presented at a ceremony during the show's Opening Reception on 8 December.

Alyona Burtseva, Project Manager, MidExpo, explains: "The ‘Digital School' zone was one of the most popular areas of last year's IS Russia, and we are confident that expanding this area is the right thing to do, as we seek to attract more AV buyers from government education departments, regional authorities, and individual establishments than ever before. Alongside this, our new pavilion for collaborative conferencing reflects the continued growth of this sector in Russia and the CIS, despite the economic slowdown."

A number of logistical changes have also been made to IS Russia as it returns to Moscow's beautiful and centrally located Gostiniy Dvor convention centre - home of the inaugural show in 2007. This year's show will take place over three

weekdays to allow greater flexibility for professional visitors, while the dividing line between IS Russia and MidExpo's co-located tradeshow, Hi-Tech Building, has now been drawn lengthways down the hall to increase ‘cross-pollenation' of attendees between the two events.

AMX, Christie, Crestron, DIS, Extron, Kindermann, Kramer, Mitsubishi, Projecta, Projectiondesign and Tecom are among the big-name industry brands to have confirmed their participation in Moscow, and Mike Blackman concludes: "Together with our supporting associations, InfoComm International and CEDIA, and our colleagues at MidExpo, we are thrilled to be able to offer such a well-rounded Russian platform to the global electronic systems and professional AV industry. With plenty more still to come from us - including our largest-ever marketing campaign for the event, together with new PR and other promotional initiatives - we believe we will attract more attendees to IS Russia than ever before."

The next Integrated Systems Russia will be held from 8-10 December 2009.
